About JET - STAR Schools
School History
The School was established in July 1988 and approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education in August 2004 as Jet Star Nursery and Primary.
JET - STAR International Schools
- Provides a suitable place of learning where children could gain knowledge and relieve their parents of the stress of uncertainties about the welfare of their children while they are at their various place of work.
- Provides an all round education for children from 3 months to 12 years old a solid foundation both in Nursery and Primary Section, thereby preparing them morally, physically and intellectually for the post primary education.
The School teaches the following subjects at Nursery and Primary level: Number work, Letter work, Nursery Rhymes, Religious Knowledge, Elementary Science, Music, Art and Craft, Yoruba, French, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, General Paper, Computer Studies, Current Affairs, Vocational Aptitude, Mathematics and English Language is the only acceptable language of communication in the school.
The School College is an off-shoot of Jet Star Nursery and Primary School which was established in September 2011 and later got approval to run both BECE and Senior School Certificate Examination from Lagos State Ministry of Education.
